Well, Better late than ever since Valentines Day is over. I would like to take this time, since it's "Love Month", to write a few things that I love about my Kristopher....
1-- HiS sMilE:
He has a few different smiles. He has a smile that I call the "sneaky smile"; which is the one when he is telling a fib, being silly, or SNEAKY. :] The one I like the most is the one I do not really have a name for...but it usually happens when I get a hair cut that he likes, or he just seems really happy and looks at me like "WOW". I love his smile(s). It always makes me smile, even on a bad day...I love that...
2-- HiS HugGs:
Even though he says that he is not a hugger...I love it when he huggs me. One that I can recall recently was when we got back home for the first time from the hospital in Salt Lake, the weekend that I had Declan. I got home and just started bawling because I came home NOT PREGNANT and NO BABY, and saw my English Bulldog Mirra--and just started bawling. I started cleaning(because I am a little compulsive), while crying, and Kris grabbed me and just hugged me and told me to go sit down and relax. It made me relax. I just love how strong he is. Even though he is a string bean(hahhaa--kiddin'), he is very cuddly...I love that :]
3-- HiS LaUgH:
It is really funny when he laughs. He squints his face and does this little chuckle--when something really funny is said or he watched. My favorite is when we are goofing around and I try to pin him on the ground and I start tickling him(yes I cheat when we wrestle). He laughs quite a bit when I tickle him and gets to the point where he is screaming, "STOP-STOP". hahahaha!!! I love that....
4-- HiS SeNse oF HuMor:
Kris is quite the little teaser. Sometimes he teases too much-but it is what he does to show he cares(in a very odd way). He is just a really fun guy and tries to involve everyone in doing something for the day or night. He is someone that is really nice to be around, and it is not the same if he is not there. Even though he thinks that he is "not a nice person, and doesn't like people"<--so he says :]; a quote on how he teases . He tries to make a joke out of everything. Not a serious kind of guy. Very creative with his words and thinks really quick off the bat with come-backs and such. Life is too short and his goofy-ness makes it fun...and I love that... :]
5-- HiS KNoWledgE:
I really love being able to turn to Kris whenever I have a question about the gospel, or really anything; which I think is very attractive about him. He is full of gospel knowledge and I love it. Sometimes at night I will ask a very random question. He always teases and says look it up in the scriptures...but I always get an answer out of him. I am not the only one who always asks Kris about anything. It's pretty much his whole family or friends even. I am really thankful for this because when our kids get old enough I can just say, "Go to your dad." hahhaa. I really like it when he comes home and does the "Did you know...???" He does that all the time, and it really is the most random/odd things...I love that...
6-- HiS WoRk EtHic:
He reminds me a lot of my dad...always working and always doing something. He has worked a lot this month. He only got a few days off because of the weather and roads being closed, but he has had to get up at 4:30 am and go to work and not get home until 5:00 or 6:00pm; which is a great pay check, but I also miss not seeing him as much. He has also been working on our Home that we are FLIPPING to sell hopefully this Spring/Summer. It has been hard because I work at the motel and I do not get of until 4:00 if I do get off. We bought it when I was still pregnant, and now Declan's here and needs attention and it has been hard for me to help with fixing the house; which I feel bad. But, again, he is such a hard worker. Always fixing, helping, going, doing and I love that...
7-- sO TaLenTeD:
This pretty much could easily repeats his knowledge and his work ethics, but Kris is very good with making furniture or anything to that matter. He has made our entertainment center. Made our HUGE DVD shelf. He has also made things for his mom, dad, brothers, sisters, grandparents, and myself. What he makes is always creative and turns out really nice. He is very good with his hands. Also, as blind as he is, he is a very talented with his bow and arrow, or even a gun for that matter. He does not practice at all and he can hit the center or target with no problem. Kind of makes his dad mad :]. We are going to Africa this summer and I am excited to see him in action(because Texas was not sucessful in the animals coming around to our blind) But very talented and surprises me everyday and I love that...
8-- FaThEr:
I love how Kris is around Declan and how he talks about him and to him. When I was in labor I saw Kris in a different way. Not that is was bad, but it is just hard to describe. He is just really goofy around Declan; which Declan loves his dad. Declan reacts to his Kris's voice more than anyone's. Kris calls Declan "Mr. Goober" and it just puts a huge smile on his face. I really love seeing Kris hold Declan and talk to him and see them react to each other. Kris is a wonderful father and I love that....
9--mY bEsT FrIenD:
Kris is so much fun, he really is my best friend. I can tell him anything, even if it is stupid. He gives me advice and tries to push myself to be stronger as a person, boss, mom...just everything...and most of all I can trust him in everything. I have been through quite the doozies in my life, and I have never had any doubt in Kris and have never felt like I could not trust him; which I know there is no reason for me to not trust him. Such a relief and such a good feeling. I love that...
10--hE eAtS liKE a hOrSe:
I will admit, I am a bit jealous that Kris can eat anything he wants and he doesn't gain anything. I mean this guy can eat a huge plate of "Juevos Rancheros" and be done in 5 minutes, and that might be taking his time. hahha!!! Seriously he is like a hoover vacuum! He is very picky too with his food, but will eat anything at the same time. A bit of a weird-o, but I love that... ;]
ANyways, I can go ON AND ON, but I shall stop right there. Kris is the world to me. I know this sounds chees-ee, but I would be totally lost without him. He is my best friend and I would do anything for him and go anywhere he would want to go to further his goals in life. He is my husband, and I could not be more blessed!!!! I LOVE YOU KRIS!!!!
