3rd TRIMESTER!!! YAY!!!

Some days I feel huge, and today's one of them. Since I was taking pictures of myself... But, it's just part of the deal right?? :)

What my body is doing/what's going on:

-- She moves quite a bit...LOVE IT!!

-- She's already up in my ribs a bit, but not too bad. Just get waves of 'uncomfortableness'

-- She moves to one side of my body quite a bit. My right side. So, this makes my belly look quite LOP-SIDED sometimes :)

-- She's already kicked Declan in the head (first sibling fight)...ahhaha...Declan put his head on my belly while watching some TV and she kicked him and Declan said, "What was that?" I said, "It was your sister, she kicked you." He said, "Mean-ee."

-- I'm eating pretty good...starting to watch the sweets. To tell you the truth I'm kind of nervous for the glucose test for some reason (My dad does has Type 1 Diabetes). I don't think I was nervous last time, but every thing's been going pretty good thus far. Her heartbeat is great. My blood pressure is "Excellent" as said by the nurse. I've gained 10 lbs total so far, as of my last appointment (April12th), probably more by now. I gained 4 at first, then 6 last time...haha... this time will probably be 10!!!

-- Still not big on "meals" still a snacker...a CONSTANT snacker.

-- I drink everything...probably should drink more water than I should, but I drink a lot of Power Ade

-- A week or so ago I realized my feet have started to SWELL!!! I really don't like this side affect too much. I was pregnant with Declan during the fall/winter, so I could hide my blown up feet. This time it's Spring/Summer...and yeah, flip flops of coarse don't hide that. I was at church yesterday with some nice church shoes on. I looked down while they were passing the Sacrament, and I said, "GROSS. Kris look..." hahaha... Even my ankles were swollen!! So I tried to hide me feet for the rest of Sacrament...ahhaa... My feet are short and stubby enough, I don't need the help of them being swollen!! :)

-- I have to put a pillow between my legs, or blanket and a pillow behind my back for support so I can sleep pretty decent on my left side and not wake up sore. Kris thinks the pillow in between us is a barrier for him to not touch me!!! hahaha... :)

All in all I can't complain. I really don't get sick. I do have a head ache every so often, but I don't get nauseous. I do get sore and tired, but oh well...I love every minute of it!! Next appointment is May 4th. It's my glucose test and I also get a shot because I have negative type blood. So fun appointment next time :D (sense the sarcasm??) After that I'll have appointments every two weeks. We're getting close FOLKS!!!

Here's a picture of Kris and Declan playing Play Station 3. Kris is really the only one playing, though Declan has played before. Declan decided to grab the other controller and help Dad, and he even pulled down a pillow and proped it behind him like his Daddy... I thought it was a cute moment:

...Let's Go Fly a Kite...Up to the Highest Height...

So I bought this kite for Declan for Easter. We finally got a decent day, with decent weather. The wind wasn't too strong, so that was good considering I bought the kite at the Dollar Store. Not the toughest of kites, but Declan picked it out. Here's some pictures :)
I Love this one of Kris and Declan...such handsome boys I have...

Sponge Bob Square Pants Kite... he does not even watch this TV show,
but he sure did like the look of the kite...
(by the way, it's hard to get a picture of a kite in the air, won't stop moving) ;)

Going to go get the kite after it fell...
... He really enjoyed it.

More Kite Flyin' days to come... I think (knock-on-wood)
I think Spring is finally here in Green River Wyoming...(cross your fingers).

EASTER....

Here are some pictures of Easter Morning. Sadly enough it was not warm by any means, poor Declan has not YET had a warm one where he could be outside and go egg hunting. You know...those nice spring Easter's that you would get every once in a while???Declan's Basket... Goodies/Candy, Toys, Kite, New Outfit with new Sandles... Checking out the STASH!!He woke up(thus the sleepy face and messy hair)
...and did not even hesitate and went straight to the couch :)

He likes his new 'Cap-Gun' mommy bought him...
(Yes, the mom bought him a gun)
Found the CANDY!!! :D Dad helping Goober out with opening Candy!!
He ate soooo much Candy that day, oh well :)

After Conference we went to Kris's Parents, which Conference by the way was REALLY good. I really felt the spirit and a lot of talks made me tear up. A lot about Parenting, and I know I am truly blessed for being given the opportunity to be a mom. I would not trade it for anything.

Declan did however hunt eggs at Grandma and Grandpa Mullins's house right when we pulled up for Easter dinner. He was really good at it too. Becky put eggs all over the lawn and hide a few to try and see if he would find them. Whenever he would find one he would go, "Oh...right there." :)
Easter Dinner was yummy as ALWAYS...Thanks Bonnie!! We, Kris and I, also got our own little Easter snacks from Kris's Parents :) We are spoiled...

My Parents also came in on Friday, April 2nd. It was my beautiful mother's birthday!! We went and ate at Bonsai. Then shopped a bit at Wal-Mart; which my mom bought so much for Declan and bought some things for Kris and I. I really do appreciate her and my dad!!! My parents also got Declan Easter goodies!! Spoiled-Spoiled-Spoiled, but I love it and love seeing Declan's face when he gets presents/something new...

This is me at 25 weeks! Yesterday, April 5th... only 15 more to go!!!

I'm feeling great. I Did however catch a nasty cold, that turned into a stomache flu...thought I was going to die, but I'm alive. Still need a name for this little . This one is a tricky one, but I'm sure we'll find a name, just wish we already had it...ahaha

...The VERDICT IS....

A GIRL!!!!!
*Here's her profile. Not the clearest of pictures...but you get the point*
I honestly am still grasping it. I was ready to hear "BOY." I am just used to hearing that. Kris was for sure it was a boy...even before I was pregnant with this sneaky #2.

A few days before Kris called me; which he was still at work, so it was either something he wanted/needed...or what I suspected--> 'not-so-good-news'. Right when he called I just knew what he was going to say. He usually has ALL Friday's off. That's why I made the appointment for Friday so he could go and did not have to take off work. Well, one of the co-workers asked him if he could work Friday. Kris said, "No, my wife has a doctor's appointment. That's when we find out what it is." So, he said, "Oh. Okay. I understand." Then a few hours later the MAIN BOSS/OWNER called Kris and said, "We really need you to work Friday, because you're the only one that can do it...and we really need this job opportunity." So, I totally understand. Kris has this job to provide for us as a family. Plus the Owner/boss asked you to, so it must be really important. Kris said he was going to try his hardest to get done and back in time for it.

Well, yesterday came...he got stuck at work...and couldn't make it. :( I was sad, just that he was not there. I was not mad at all. It is just one of those things. I am very proud of how hard working Kris is...and the company he works for obviously needs him as well and knows he is a good worker. My mom also couldn't go, since my dad was in a bad wreck. He really needed to get his back checked and the only day they could go was yesterday...or else they'd have to wait for a whole month. So I totally understand that too. Dad needs to take care of himself more than this.

So, Bonnie(Kris's mom), Becky and Rachel (Kris's sisters)...Declan and Rachel's new baby boy Bridger(3 days old, such a cutie) went and headed to Evanston when Kris told us he couldn't make it. I was excited to see the baby. I was just ready to know. On the way over I said to Bonnie, "If it's a girl, Kris is not going to believe me."

This is Bridger Carroll Spikes
Born Tuesday, March 9th 2010
6 lbs. 13 oz. 21 inches long
CONGRATS RACHEL AND JON!!!!

We got to the office...and they took us back right away. Dr. Evans came in shortly. We started to look at the baby. Declan had a big grin on his face and kept pointing and saying, "Baby." While Dr. Evans was moving around on my stomach Declan got concerned and said, "Mom. Okay? Okay?" I said, "I'm okay. I'm fine. She's not hurting me." Dr. Evans laughed and said, "I'm not hurting your momma." It was cute how concerned he was for me. He's just a sweetheart.

Then she said, "Now, here's the area that we are interested in." She kept moving the thing around and I was watching her face. She was really focusing and trying to look for parts. Then Bonnie says, "I think I'm right again...

(She's been right with all grandbabies so far in our Mullins's family (4), except one that hasn't been born yet...due anytime now...hahaha; which is also a girl)

Dr. Evans said, "What do you think it is?" Bonnie said, "A girl." Dr. Evans said, "Yep. I'm pretty sure it's a girl. I'm just not seeing any boy parts at all." I immediately covered my face started to tear up...and I said, "You're kidding! Kris is not going to believe me." ahhaha!! Exactly what I said before!! Dr. Evans laughed and Bonnie and Becky were just smiling.

I trust Dr. Evans. She's done her fair share of these...and knows what to look for. I found out with Declan at 18 weeks, this one almost 22 weeks...and Declan was definitely a boy at 18 weeks...and I was even looking on this one and there is just no boy parts.

I called Kris and finally got a hold of him. He was still out in the middle of no where working...and I said, "So you still think it's a boy?" He said, "I know it's a boy. You don't need to tell me." I said, "Well.. you created a girl. How do you feel?" ahahah... He said, "I don't believe you. I knew you would lie to me at first. It's a boy." I said, "No. Really. It's a girl." He said, "Well, I'll have to hear it from the Doctor." ahhaha...I said, "I can arrange that." He was laughing of coarse, and joking, but I'm sure he was shocked. He said, "Well, her name has to be African." I said, "If you find a good one, sure." I told him how I knew he wouldn't believe me. I really wished he could have been there for that and just to hear him say, "Na-uh." To the doctor...and see his face. But this was fun too...

I called the rest of my siblings on both sides, my parents... and they were all very happy and surprised. Most of them did think boy...only a few girls. So it was fun to tell everyone and hear them be like "REALLY?".

So, the poll on my blog up on the top right hand side was RIGHT!! It was fun doing this and waiting to hear. Now comes the hard part of finding a name and AGREEING.

I am very excited. I have a good feeling about Dr. Evans. I know she'll take care of me and baby girl. VERY BLESSED. Declan is such a sweetie, and caring. I just know he'll take care of his sister!!!

20 WEEKS!!!

HALF WAY THERE!!! :D

I am not sure how I feel about my size. Sometimes I think I'm big, but then sometimes I try to remember how I was with Declan and I think I'm about the same. I did not start at the weight I was with Declan though (I was 15 lbs lighter)...so maybe that's why I feel bigger! Oh well...

I do really enjoy being pregnant. Sure, I still have moments of getting tired. Get pretty nasty headaches... Also some things that I eat, the baby just does not like it...but all-in-all I'm doing good.

CRAVE:
1- Sweets (skittles, starburst, etc.)
2-Any dessert likes to be in my tummy...
3-Salsa
4-Chips
5-Cheese Dip
6-String Cheese
7-Fanta Soda, Grape (so good)
8-Apples
9-Oranges

DISLIKE:
(don't get me wrong...I'll like them after pregnancy)

1-Heavy stuff, potatoes-gravy
2-Rice
3-Grilled Chicken (didn't like that before, but now it's not any better)

I am feeling the baby more and more. I think this one might be more 'active' than Declan, or maybe I' know what to look for...but it is a great feeling.

We find out in two weeks what it is, hopefully it will cooperate. I really have not gotten any strong feelings to make me say one or the other, but I have many family and friends that have said either or...so WE'LL SEE :D This one is 'different', but every pregnancy is. This one has definitely been "meaner" to me (Kris says it takes after me then)...but I still love the little turd.

...I wonder????

So... I lied about the next post would probably be me posting what Goober #2 is...but there's something I wanted to share.
We all hate waiting to know what the little one is...right?? Or unless you are one of those strong/patient people who can wait til' Delivery Day. That's not me at all...
I have heard about this test. You can test as early as 10 weeks. I know... wow. I have watched Video's (on YouTube; the DOCTOR SHOW segment one) about this and read about this product. There is a good thing about this, if it is as accurate as it says, and there is a bad side to this. Doctor's think that some may take this test really hoping for a certain gender, and if it's the opposite they might 'abort' the pregnancy; which is REALLY unbelievable (to put it nicely) THAT people would do this. Doctor's are also afraid, that if this is as accurate as it states, that in some countries they are really picky about genders and will use this in a negative way, again...ABORTION.
I'm not one of those people AT ALL. I am one who does not care what it is. I just would like to know. I am pretty tempted to take this test before the Ultra Sound to see how accurate it is... I found out that they sell it at WALGREEN's in Rock Springs for $29.99 + Tax. It's not the most expensive thing on earth, but I know I could put that money to better use...
What do you think about this PRODUCT??? Should I take it?? Or just wait???

HAppY VaLENtinES DaY!!!

THIS PICTURE SAYS IT ALL :) Kris, Declan any myself celebrated Valentine's Day on Saturday, 13th. We went to Rock Springs. We went right to the movie at 12:30pm AVATAR. It was pretty good. Long, but good. Declan actually did quite well and enjoyed it. He didn't wear the 3D glasses, but neither did I really. I mostly watched it without them; which didn't bother me.
Then after the movie we went to K-mart, and Kris bought me Mario Bros. Wii game. It's really fun. We played it once we got home after everything...Declan "joined" too with a remote that was off so he could feel like he was playing :) We yelled and screamed and laughed a lot. That's why I love Mario Bros. It's just so fun and a classic game that can never get old.
After K-Mart, we went to Golden Corral. It was really good actually. We didn't know what we were in the mood for, and a buffet seemed to fit the moment (which this really sounds good right now). Declan especially loved it because he got a whole plate stacked of black olives :) Got soup of coarse, and fries. It was a perfect meal for the little Goober.
It was a fun day... I love my husband and son very much. They keep me going and make me laugh when I do not want to...but it's just not on Valentine's Day that I should express this, I hope they both know that I would do anything for them. I love my Valentine's VERY MUCH!!!

I got Goober a Valentine Giraffe named Kissy. Some M&M's...and the Movie "UP"
I woke him up Sunday morning and said, "Hurry you got a present." He looked at me weird and said, "Presents??" and it clicked and he jumped up and said, "Hurry Mom!" So I took him to the couch. He looked and went straight for the M&M's, go figure. Then he saw the Movie and went "Wow."...then saw the giraffe and said, "Oooo...neat." He has the best reactions to gifts. I just love it...
Then, Kris was already up on the computer and I told him that he has something on the couch, of coarse he knew what I was up too. I got him Gummy Bears, a Hasting Gift Card, the movie "Goonies", a Card, Reese's, and a Necklace with a arrow head on it.
He thought I did not get anything for him, so it was nice to see his face :)
I also became an Aunt again, on Valentine's Day. Sam and Laura, Kris's oldest brother, had their baby girl on Sunday. She's quite the cutie. 8lbs. 5oz. and 21 inches long. She's a chubb and healthy. I have not got to meet her yet...but I'm sure I will soon.
CONGRATS SAM and LAURA on your little VALENTINE!!!
Well, now I'll give a baby update. I last went to the doctor on the 10th of this month. She was trying to get the heartbeat, but would get it for like two seconds and it would move. So she just said, "Let's just look at it." I got to see the baby!! :) It was so cute a little, and I got teary eyed looking at it. It is just amazing. I did not see what it was, don't worry--Kris wasn't there either so that wouldn't have been fair. I teased my doctor though, "So, can you tell what it is?" She smiled and said, "Oh no, it's too early and I'm not lookin'." She's funny. I was 17 weeks then, and she probably could get an idea of what it was, but... The first thing we saw was it's back bone, and she said, "Wow. That's a really straight back." Made me feel good. I did see two arms and two legs. It kicked me quite a bit and was a mover for sure. I am starting to feel it move more and more; which I really love. Just reassures me that "I'm here mom." :)

My next appointment is on March 12th, and this is when we hopefully find out what it is!!! I am so excited. I really hope the little one cooperates because I do not want to wait any longer. I have a poll on the top right, if you haven't guessed already or voted...it's just for fun. I do not care what it is...I just want it over due and healthy :)

Next post will probably be me announcing what it is!!!

Baby Boy!

January 28th, 2010
At 11:18pm
7 lbs. 4 oz. 19 inches
Little Asher Chase E. Came into this world. He was just 5 days early of due date February 2nd. He is the second grandchild on the Ellsworth's side. I was lucky enough to go down on Saturday, the 30th to see him, Chase, and Brooke. They were actually waiting for me to get there at the hospital, because they were already able to go home. So I was able to see them leave and take the baby home with them as well.
Here are a few pictures that I have of him. I waited all night to see what he was going to look like. That is such an exciting part to see their little faces and to have him here!!
WELCOME TO THE FAMILY ASHER!!!

Just a few minutes after being born...

Looks so much like his mommy Brooke in this picture :)

I took this right when they were about to put him in his car seat to go home. All of his clothes were way big on him, but still cute!!
Declan did really well with it all. At first he was trying to make me hold him, not the baby...but we kept telling him Asher's name and making him say it. He kept saying, "Awe... Baby Asher."

Just could not be more grateful and humbled that everything turned out okay...

He's perfect and healthy...

He has AMAZING PARENTS...

Can't wait to see him grow...

I love you Asher!!

CONGRATS CHASE AND BROOKE!!

*Love you both*

2009 was GREAT...
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! HERE'S TO 2010!!!

On the Night before Christmas...

...And all through my Uncle and Aunt's house... Not a creature was stirring, well, except for a little stinker name GOOBER!!!

This is Declan before this lovely little story happened...
So sweet and innocent right???

Kris, Declan and myself went to Manila to my Aunt and Uncle's house on Christmas Eve. We ate yummy Food, Egg Nogg, and just visiting. Well, all of sudden my mom says, "Guess where Declan just was found." I said, "What? I thought you were watching him." Dez found him in the dryer. Holly was airing it out, and he decided to climb in... WHAT A GOOB!! Pictures speak for themselves (thanks Dez for taking them) hahahhaa!!!
"Uh???"
"What??"
"You can't be mad at me..."
"What are you all staring at??"

He's a cute little stinker... I'll give him that...

Mullins's Christmas 2009...

We woke up Declan to open a few presents, yes, I woke him up. I know soon that will be the opposite of my kids waking me up... but it was just fun to see his face and try his new toys and tell him he can finally open all that was under the Tree for so long that he COULDN'T TOUCH...
We spent Christmas Day at Kris's parents home here in Green River, WY. It was fun and relaxing. I love Kris's family... and love spending time with them. We got spoiled rotten from everyone here as well--Kris, myself, and Declan. It was great. THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS, LOVE YOU ALL!!
I got to close the Office here the Motel all day. Just put up a sign and had my cell # on it in case of an emergency. I didn't get called all day. It was a CHRISTMAS MIRACLE... We of coarse ate a yummy dinner. Turkey, and finger food galor. My favorite. I can eat that stuff all day long. We also busted out the Wii :)

Declan got a Lightning McQueen Power wheel from Grandma and Grandpa E... He's not quite the best driver in the world, but he's getting it for a 2 year old...Declan still not awake, thus the yawn. I had to wake him up... and it looks like Kris and Declan were both visited by the hair fairy while sleeping...ahahhaa!!!
Kris and his Under Armor he loves so dearly...

I bought Declan a McQueen CD player. He loves it, and it's so nice just to put music on at bedtime and let him fall asleep to music...
The aftermath in my front living/family room...Aw, lovely Christmas :)
